. . . pressing on . . . .

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Phlippians 3:12

Our first trimester of language school is officially finished! Today was our last day of class and tomorrow is graduation for the leaving students. We both made it out with A's in all of our classes and are so proud of all we have accomplished. When we arrived in Costa Rica, we could only speak in the present tense with little vocabulary. Now, we know the present, past, imperfect, and how to say things we are going to do in the future! We are now able to say our testimonies in Spanish and to quote the Roman Road as well! Thanks for all of you who have prayed for us as we have worked hard this trimester. We enjoyed so much our classes and the new friends we have made. Here is a picture with me and my classmates baking cookies for a fun respite from studying! Our school, teachers, and new friends were such a blessing to us as we worked to learn the Spanish language!

Tomorrow begins our almost two week break between trimesters and a much needed time of rest. Travis' parents are flying in tomorrow for a visit and we are so excited to see them. Next Friday, Travis is traveling with a group down river to do ministry for a few days. He is very excited about this opportunity.

Please pray for us this week as we have visitors and as we have to say goodbye to our newly made friends tomorrow as they travel home or to their country of mission work.

* Side note, to those who have asked we can receive packages here in Costa Rica - look down on the right hand side of our blog and you can see our address and note on packages.
